Just like computer programs you have written, or problems you have had to solve using the computer, it is always essential that you plan your work before you start. Time spent planning at the beginning will be repaid many times later on. Your presentation should contain between 5 and 15 screens. It is better to have a 5 or 6 interesting and well laid out screens, than 15 boring screens full of text. Remember, the final presentation must include text, audio and graphics. One method of designing the presentation is to create a storyboard. A storyboard involves drawing out each screen on paper noting what multimedia elements will be used, and how the user will go between each screen. By the end of this you should have a clear idea of the content and what multimedia elements you are going to have to create, capture or find.
