Task 13 - Macromedia Fireworks

You will use Macromedia Fireworks as your bitmapped graphics package.

Images are edited on a pixel by pixel basis, by zooming in you can actually see the individual picture elements that make up the picture and you can erase or change the colour of the pixels.

Bitmapped graphics tools are much more suited for freehand sketching and natural drawing.

  • Experiment with the tools available in Fireworks
  • Attempt to create your own, original artwork
  • Edit an existing bitmap image, either from an image from the internet, a scanned image or a picture taken with a digital camera
