Task 11 - Techniques in Vector Graphics |

A.M.D.G.
|
There
are a number of techniques you can use to manipulate the objects in
a vector graphics package.
Layering
of objects
Overlapping objects can be placed in front of, or behind, other objects.

Scaling
without loss of quality
When an object is scaled it is made bigger or smaller. It can be scaled
by an exact percentage or by clicking and dragging on the ‘handles’
on the corner of the object.

Rotating
When a vector drawn graphic is rotated, it will be turned through a
number of degrees.

Flipping
A vector drawn graphic can be flipped or reflected horizontally or vertically.

- Use
Macromedia Freehand to experiment with the above techniques
and other commands available in the Transform menu.
