The
main tools in Freehand relate to the creation and manipulation
of objects.
The objects
can be manipulated individually.
That is
why vector graphics are sometimes called object-oriented graphics.
The various
properties of each object can be changed, line thickness, line
colour, fill colour etc.
Vector
graphics are ideal for creating documents that require exact
dimensions or sizes e.g. blueprints or plans.
Vector
graphics are not so good at dealing with irregular shapes or
altering individual pixels on a page.
