While fax machines, the postal service and telephones are still used extensively, the use of email has undoubtedly removed the reliance upon these services. Email allows electronic messaging between computer systems. Attachments allow files and programs to be attached to an email message. Carbon Copy (CC) and Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) allow different users to receive copies of important messages. Netiquette refers to a set of informal rules governing behaviour on the web.
