Task 4 - Website Design Assessable Task

Having learned the skills necessary to create and publish a website you are now going to work with a partner to design your own website.

Working with a partner allows you to plan the site together, search and find relevant information, collaborate on site content, divide tasks equally and gain the best possible grade for this module.

You and your partner will be graded on the quality of your website and on how well you worked together to produce the site.

Design Brief

You are required to design and create a Modern Languages website for people starting to learn a new language.

Your website must include vocabulary & grammar, commonly used phrases, tourist attractions and an insight into the country's culture.

You may choose from French, Italian or Spanish.

The site must be visually appealing, interesting and interactive. You may include sounds, animation, pictures, quizzes etc.

The site must be easy to navigate using frames. Information must be well organized using tables and lists. Text must be well presented using easy to read colours, fonts and sizes.

The site must include links to other websites related to either the country or the language of your choice.

The website must be hosted on the Internet, supply your teacher with the address of the completed website and they will grade your site.
