In this module you will use a variety of skills that can be used in many aspects of your education. Firstly you will collect information. There are many millions of web sites available on the Internet. You must have the skills to search and retrieve for specific items of data. Secondly you will analyse this information. Raw statistics and pages of numbers are difficult to understand. You must group and categorise data then find totals and averages and produce charts to make data more accessible. Finally you must draw your own conclusions and present your findings to others. You must be familiar with ICT tools for presenting information to others. You are to work in pairs to complete the tasks in this module. By working collaboratively, sharing ideas and dividing workload you will produce the best possible results. |
