Module 1.1
Task 1 - Logging On

A.M.D.G.

All computers in the ICT labs are networked. This means that they are joined together to allow people to share files, share printers, share an Internet connection and to save all their work on a central computer, called a server.

Without a valid User ID and password you will not be able to log on and use your computer in ICT. The log on screen appears below:

  • If it is not already switched on, switch on your computer.
  • When the screen above appears, use the User ID and password issued by your teacher to log onto the network.
