Welcome to Information and Communications Technology In St Aloysius' College all pupils follow an ICT course in S1 and S2. Pupils may choose to follow ICT in S3 and S4 and, in S5 can choose from two Higher Grade subjects, Computing and Information Systems, both offered by the College. The use of the College network and the Internet are essential to the study of ICT. Course notes are available from here along with an option to download or print a copy for yourself. For each week of the academic year there is a homework exercise that must be completed. Pupils must ensure that they record details of their homework exercises in their Planners and submit all exercises on time. Computers are available through Open Access, ICT4 is typically open to students at morning break, lunchtime and after school. Pupils must not abuse this facility by eating or drinking in ICT 4 or by using the computers for non-educational purposes. Staff will be more than happy to help any pupil encountering problems in any aspect of ICT. |
