Extension Question.

 

The Junior School is planning the installation of 100 new computer workstations.  Unlike its original suite of computers, these will be networked.

 

a)                 Describe one economic factor and one technical factor, which have led to the development of computer networking.

b)                In addition to the 100 computers, three servers will be required.  One of these will be a fileserver.

i)                   Name two other types of server, which are likely to be needed.

ii)       Describe the function of your chosen two servers.
